Abstract

The present work refers to the project of regional nature launched by the Ministry of Education and University of the Canary Islands Government, with the participation of 60 educational centers throughout the archipelago. Since its inception, has aimed to promote educational success in the Canarian students from the stages of Early Childhood Education, specifically from the 2nd cycle, starting from the premise that is from an early age where teachers have to lay the foundation for personal development and of the child, integrating in him the necessary lessons so that later he can acquire and consolidate the so-called Basic Competences. For this, the fundamental axis was based on three pillars that started its operation, with special emphasis on the joint training of the teachers involved in the program: the methodological update of the teaching staff, the inter-stage coordination to facilitate the transition of the students, and Specific support measures aimed at favoring the development of basic skills. For the construction of the external evaluation, and therefore, to answer the questions posed initially, it was established as a research framework the assumptions considered by Yanchar and Williams (2006), where Creativity, Innovation and Critical Reflection had their maximum exponent, so that their contribution to a greater incentive of cognitive, linguistic, social and emotional development.
