Doctor by the Universitat d'Alacant / Universidad de Alicante with the thesis New perspectives on red supergiants stellar properties based on large samples, empirical relations and applications 2016. Supervised by Dr. Ignacio Negueruela Díez.

Graduated in Physics by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and master in astrophysics by the Universidad Complutense and Universidad Atónoma de Madrid. He performed his PhD in astrophysics, about the identification and study of evolved high-mass stars (red supergiants) in the Universidad de Alicante, with two stances in the Institute of Astronomy (University of Cambridge). He defended his thesis in 2016 in the Universidad de Alicante, reaching the maximum calcification (Cum Laude). Since then he occupied postdoc positions at the Universidad de Alicante and the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias. He is currently a assistant professor in the Universidad Europea de Canarias. He has 28 refereed publications in Q1, 9 of them as first or second author, with 700 citations to his works and an H-index of 15.
