Resum

El apego infantil es un proceso fundamental durante la infancia. En su desarrolloparticipan numerosas variables, como la susceptibilidad genética, el temperamento, lafamilia o la educación, entre otros, siendo la familia el principal factor que influye en sudesarrollo. El tipo de apego que el niño establezca con su cuidador principal será unpunto principal en el futuro desarrollo de las relaciones emocionales futuras. Esteaspecto, además, está íntimamente relacionado con otros constructos psicológicos,como la autoestima o la seguridad, y se verán altamente influenciados por el tipo deapego que el niño establezca. El apego tiene su relevancia en las conductas futuras delniño cuando sea adulto, encontrándose relaciones significativas en la bibliografía entreel tipo de apego del niño y las relaciones interpersonales futuras. Este trabajo tienecomo objetivo el aunar toda la información y modelos teóricos del apego y profundizaren las variables que influyen en su desarrollo.
